What a GEO score measures
A GEO score is a 0-100 measure of how ready a website is to be cited by AI answer engines. Osoro GEO computes it as a weighted average of the four CITE pillar scores - Technical, Content, Entity and Trust - each itself scored 0-100 from crawl output and answer-engine response sampling.
The score is a readiness measure, not a popularity measure: it tells you whether the signals engines weight when choosing sources are present on and around your site. Actual citation outcomes are tracked separately as citation rate, by sampling the engines on real buyer queries.
How to read the number
Below 60 on any pillar means that pillar has defects worth fixing before anything else; 60-80 is functional with clear gaps; 80+ is strong. Because the pillars are dependent - an unparseable site never reaches the extraction stage - a low Technical score caps what the other three can deliver, which is why the fix queue orders Technical work first.
