AI answer engines now decide which brands get named in an answer, and they do not use the same signals as classic search rankings. This report measures who actually gets cited, using first-party data from the Osoro GEO AI Citation Index. Every figure is real; nothing on this page is hardcoded.

Citation rate by industry
Trailing-window average AI citation rate per industry cohort. Cohorts of fewer than five projects are suppressed, so a missing industry is not yet large enough to publish.

We measure ourselves too
A report on AI citation should be able to show its own. We scan our own homepage several times a day and publish every result unedited.
How we measure it
Every company is tested against the same standardized set of buyer-intent queries for its category, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and Claude, and scored on the four CITE pillars (Technical, Content, Entity, Trust). We count a citation only when an engine attributes a claim to a company's own domain, not when it merely mentions the name. No company paid for placement, and placement cannot be bought.
To date, 104 public scans have run through Osoro GEO.
